My sister went to the University at Buffalo for college. You know what that means? I’ve visited Niagara Falls at least 8 times! Once during the summer to drop her off a the start of school and once at the end of May to bring her back home. Through in a few winter break trips and maybe I’ve been there 10x. It’s incredible to see both sides of the falls -the U.S. side and the Canadian side. My dad would do most of the driving and we’d also go to Toronto and Quebec. We never travel as a full family now -me, mom, dad, sister, grandma. But it’s a memory I always carry with me that makes me feel bittersweet while smiling. One day, I’ll head to the Pacific North West and see Vancouver.
