Australia

Experienced in 2010

So…you know the saying “when in Rome?” Or…”you should try new things?” Yep…

Maybe you know what I’m alluding to. Okay wait. In my defense it was fly twenty hours to get here and try pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon OR… koala, emu, and kangaroo. EMOJI FACE

Yes, I did have a piece of this gorgeous creature, along with the Australia’s national bird, the emu, and kangaroo. I’ve made my remorse. Actually I've still never gone back and as such never ate any of those wonderful sentient beings ever again. No, I don’t think Dominoes or Papa John’s has them as toppings, and I promise I’ll never ask.

Being so far away, often American’s never come here, and that’s really unfortunate. Health insurance and work life balance appears to be much more wonderful here. The weather combines that of a Californian warmth mixed with a Chicagoan wind. You can as many gelato flavors as you like before buying one. Some don’t even buy, and it’s obvious they won’t, and they still keep giving them.

Australia was my fourth continent. Sydney, Brisbane, and then a trip to South Frasier Island. But I missed Perth, the outback, and Melbourne. But, I’ll be back. Thank you to Contiki Travel (Click here) for hooking me up with the a bus load of Aussies to make up for it!

Oh, and you got to see New Zealand while your there. I missed Wellington where they filmed Lord of the Rings, but I did jump off the Auckland Bridge! (Find Picture!)
